About: I'm Jen. I live a few miles outside of Boston. I do web work for a non-profit during the day.

This web page has been in all sorts of forms since 1994 when I first wrote HTML in emacs on a Unix terminal at BU. Now I prefer BBEdit on my Mac. I'm never quite sure why I'm doing this

Misc

I haven't posted in a while and I've even sent myself email saying "blog this" with a link and then never getting around to it.

I've been trying out Basecamp for a large project at work that I'm leading. It's been a great way to organize everything. I saw Jason Fried from 37signals speak at Web Design World and enjoy their blog so just knew that Basecamp would be excellent.

Work has been a lot of thinking about content management systems, web-based collaboration, and also randomly switching between ColdFusion and php, neither of which I know extremely well but both which I seem to be using to get stuff done. My brain is busy. Thankfully I have kexp streaming into my ears and The Diesel feeding me Tex Mex Veggie Wraps and chai or coffee or english breakfast or whatever kind of caffeine I need.

I do wish it would stop snowing and being winter. I love sweaters, but I'm sick of chapped lips and standing in snow banks to pay the parking meter.
